Chico Pérez (Jaén, 1994) is a pianist, interpreter and composer. He was born in the bosom of a family of musicians, what makes bring back him a great interest and love for music, which will take him to stage at the early age of 6 years.
In the year 2016 got the high degree of music in the specialty of Piano in the CSM of Jaén.
Apart from the studies carried out at the conservatory, he has received classes from master David Peña Dorandos, Antonio López, Sergio Albacete, Guillermo González, Alberto de Paz, Israel Sandoval, Pepe Rivero, Joaquín Chacón, German Kucich, Jesus Villa, among others.
Recognized as one of the emerging artists and with more projection of the national Flamenco panorama, in just one year has been awarded, among others, with the award for Best Artist by the Instituto RTVE (2018), Talent Prize Young (2018) 1st prize composer (2018) and elected Recently for the tour AIEnRuta Flamenco 2019. His recognition has crossed our borders being invited by the prestigious University of Oxford, in the festival "The World's Music at Oxford", which will take place next May. Inside the tour of concerts in which it is immersed in different theatres and festivals of the Spanish geography has shared poster with artists of the stature of Diego Amador, Israel Fernandez, Alfredo Tejada, the Macanita, David gilders, Farruquito, Antonio Liana, etc.
Pianist of the musical The Lion King (since 2017) collaborates with artists such as Tontxu, Sara Ráez, Inma Vilchez, Coraluna, Rafa Alvarez, Alma Mesa, Marem Ladson... Playing at festivals such as Starlite de Marbella, Vida Festival, Dcode, Radio 3.
As a composer he gets the best Original Soundtrack award for the short "Al Alba " In the Bailen National contest (2017). He has composed the soundtrack for the short film "Corazón de Porcelaine" for the Faculty of Communication of the EUSA of Seville (2016). In addition, it performs the composition and recording of a record of reflective music for the Mediterranean province of the Marist HH.
